First step: choose a good domain name
As of today, there are 466,469 .ca domain names registered. That's a lot of different addresses for the .ca country extension, but imagine how many .com's are out there. I wasn't able to find the total number of domain names registered worldwide - if anybody knows this figure, please fill me in and comment below.
Nevertheless, there are a lot of domain names out there competing for attention. If your business is late to the world wide web or if you're an entrepreneur working on a new business plan, you better give your domain name some serious thought before registering it.
